Design Principles
DRISTI is designed using the following Design Principles:
Security and Privacy
DRISTI is designed using best-in-class security and privacy principles. It is secure by default. Role-based access ensures that only authorised individuals have access to data and functionality. Private information, such as PII of all users, is encrypted, and data is exchanged through encrypted and secure channels. Digital signatures are used to ensure non-repudiation, and all changes are logged in a signed audit log.
Open and Interoperable
DRISTI is designed to be open and interoperable through three key elements: an API-first approach, standardised events, and verifiable credentials. This is important to enable diverse user needs to be met in accessing dispute resolution services. These three elements are designed to be secure, tamper-free, and verifiable by authorised parties - ensuring data authenticity and data ownership.
Reusable and Extendable
DRISTI provides modular building blocks that can be configured for diverse process flows, enabling dispute resolution systems tailored to specific needs. These modules can also be completely replaced if required, offering a plug-and-play approach that makes the platform highly adaptable and evolvable for future requirements.
