Admission and the creation of a “case”
Litigants and advocates will have access to an intuitive e-filing system where they can file their cases. Any implementation of DRISTI allows the creation of templates specific to a case type, so for different types of cases, different levels of requirements and documentation can be requested for the person filing the case at the outset.
DRISTI has access to e-signing via Aadhar so all documents can be signed without the conventional print, sign, scan routine. It also has e-payment systems to pay for any court fees / user charges.
The e-filing modules have validation checks in place to help avoid errors. Errors, if any will be caught up the court staff managing the role of File Scrutiny. Scrutiny rules can be defined at the level of a case type, along with general rules that apply to all cases. Beyond basic validations, DRISTI can also be integrated with other tools for OCR validation for advanced scrutiny features.
Judges can lay their own rules of admission, following which DRISTI will create a “case” with a unique ID. For compatibility with NJDG, and other court systems, DRISTI allows system administrators to define rules for case ID creation.
