Listing & Scheduling
About
This is a module currently under construction.
Listing and Scheduling of cases is one of the key modules which allows a system designer to define when hearings in cases should be scheduled. It envisions a calendared approach to case management, as opposed to the current token approach where everyone assembles in the morning and waits for their time in court.
DRISTI allows the system to configure scheduling algorithms that will
Allow for triage and prioritization - so rules can be set by the team (for example, some High courts might prioritize Bail, Writ Petitions over other types of matters)
Allow for smart scheduling based on stage of the case, the type of case, and time availability
Allow for rescheduling based on mutual agreement between parties
Today, all rescheduling requests are handled on the day of the hearing, and the cause of many adjournments.
DRISTI will also allow for smart listing wherein the status of the cause list will be updated, allowing litigants and lawyers visibility on the progression of the cases ahead of theirs.
