Key Features

Scheduling Hearings

  • Judges can schedule hearings for specific dates using a scheduler logic that provides real-time recommended dates based on the purpose of the hearing.

  • The judge may select one of the available hearing dates or choose a custom date. The selected date is sent back to the scheduling logic via an API, and an order is generated for the hearing date.

  • Calendar View: All parties can view upcoming hearings via a calendar view, which shows pending actions, day and week views, and allows for navigating across dates.

Rescheduling

  • Judges can reschedule hearings in response to requests from advocates or at their discretion. The system generates an order for rescheduling, and the case status is updated accordingly.

  • Bulk Rescheduling: Court staff can reschedule entire slots of hearings in bulk, moving all hearings in the slot to "Hearing Date under Consideration."
