Payment Redesign

This release introduces a unified and simplified payment experience for Notices, Summons, and Warrants across the platform. Users can now complete payments through three streamlined entry points — upfront during filing, via the pending task panel, or using secure SMS/Email links.

Upfront Fee Collection at Filing: Users can now pay process fees and delivery fees immediately after filing, with handling of delay condonation scenarios, multiple delivery channels, and address selections. Payments are tracked at the process level and auto-linked to Magistrate orders.

Right-Hand Side Pending Task Flow: Magistrates no longer select delivery channels or addresses. Advocates/Litigants complete these details when taking steps on the task. A single combined payment option calculates all applicable fees and removes the task once paid. Tasks auto-expire on the next hearing date.

Secure Payment Link via SMS/Email: System-generated links allow quick mobile payments and send reminders before deadlines. Users follow the same standardized payment UI as the pending task panel. (Id was not provided for the sms template).

Offline RPAD & Delivery Fee Handling: Improved workflow ensures tasks remain open until both online and offline components are completed. Court staff have a dedicated “Notice & Summon Service” section and integrated offline fee collection flow.

In Portal Satisfaction Survey

Introduced an in-portal User Satisfaction Survey for advocates.

Survey question asks: “How convenient was the specific process on the ON Court Platform?” with four options — Very convenient, Convenient, Moderately convenient, Needs improvement.

Survey currently enabled only for advocate users; court staff survey planned for a future phase.

Survey is triggered after key user actions:

  • Completion of filing

  • Completion of defect correction

  • BNSS 223 notice / summons / warrant payments

  • Accused advocate onboarding (vakalat submission + fee payment)

  • Submission of applications (e.g., Bail, Case Withdrawal)

SMS Notifications Revamp

  • Updated SMS dispatch logic across the platform.

  • SMS will now be triggered immediately for specific high-priority scenarios.

  • Other SMS types will be sent via the 6:00 PM daily cron job.

  • Ensures faster communication where required and optimized batch processing for routine notifications.

Bail Bond Linkage New workFlow

  • Bail application details (including surety info) now auto-populate into the Bail Bond to avoid duplicate data entry.

  • Judges can view full bail application + attached surety details before approving.

  • On approving and selecting Request Bail Bond, system auto-generates pending tasks for:

  • Bail orders created without applications also support Request Bail Bond with the same task flow.

  • Editing bail order updates the pending bail bond task automatically.

  • Typist can approve/reject bail bond details but cannot sign.

  • Bail Order PDF updated with judge details, number of sureties, and total amount.

  • Bail Bond screen now pre-fills applicant and order details; advocates can adjust sureties as required or clear all pre-filled data.

Live Causelist

Introduced a dynamic causelist on courtroom monitors to help parties track real-time hearing status.

Top section displays the first 4 hearings in order: Inprogress → Scheduled → Passed Over → Completed, refreshing every 5 seconds.

Bottom section shows the full hearing list in original serial order with auto-pagination every 5 seconds.

Both sections render on the same overall screen, with flexibility to develop separately and merge via HTML.

Top 4 block explicitly shows statuses: Inprogress, Scheduled, Passed Over.

Epost Integration & Enhancements
