Multiple Complaints
E-filing: The e-filing system now supports cases with multiple complainants, each represented by their own set of advocates. Additionally, a complainant can be designated as a PIP (Party-in-Person).
E-sign: The e-sign option becomes visible to all parties only after initiation. Only advocates can upload a signed document or proceed with e-signing. If an advocate uploads a signed document, any advocate representing the case can upload the file, and e-signing is no longer required. If e-signing is chosen, all parties must complete the process.
Edit Case: The case initiator can access and use the “Edit Case” button to make changes. However, if a litigant or advocate has already signed the case, any edits made by the initiator will invalidate all existing signatures.
Read-only Mode: The case remains a view-only draft for all complainants and added advocates, except for the filing person.
Payment Locking: If two advocates or litigants attempt to make a payment simultaneously, only the first to initiate it can proceed. The other will be restricted until the lock is released—either due to payment failure, clicking the Cancel button, or the expiration of a 20-minute session.
Join Case changes
Assigning Advocates: The same advocate can be assigned to multiple complaints within a joined case.
Replacing Advocates: If needed, the current advocate can be replaced, and a new advocate can be assigned to handle the case.
Adding New Users: Advocates have the ability to add new users to a joined case, even if multiple users are involved.
Task Transfer: When a new advocate is assigned to the case, all pending tasks should be automatically transferred to the newly assigned advocate.
A Dairy
BOTD: By default, BOTD entries are included when issuing orders and evidence. The judge can edit these entries before e-signing. However, once the document is e-signed, further edits are no longer allowed.
Pending Tasks: Pending e-sign tasks are created only when the judge clicks the Add Signature button. Only pending diary e-sign tasks remain visible.
