Bulk Rescheduling
The Bulk Rescheduling feature enables judges and court staff to reschedule all hearings for a single day in one action. This eliminates the need for manual rescheduling of individual cases, ensuring efficient hearing management.
Bulk Reschedule Workflow
A "Bulk Reschedule" button is available in the Hearing tab.
Clicking the button opens a pop-up window.
The pop-up displays a "Reason for Reschedule" field with three predefined options.
Users can select an option and transfer hearings to another date.
Slot Selection Logic
Single-Date Rescheduling:
If the date range includes only one date, the slot selection option is enabled, allowing users to choose:
Morning Slot
Evening Slot
Both Slots
Multi-Date Rescheduling:
If the date range includes multiple dates, the slot selection option is disabled.
Hearings are rescheduled automatically based on system-defined logic.
Hearing Transfer Rules
Completed hearings are not transferred.
All other hearings (except those in the completed stage) are rescheduled to the new date and slot.
A-Diary Synchronization
Once bulk rescheduling is performed, updates are instantly reflected in the judge’s A-Diary.
This ensures real-time tracking of hearing schedules.
Notifications & Tracking
All bulk rescheduling actions are recorded in the "Orders & Notifications" tab.
Users can review and track rescheduling updates efficiently.
Email Notifications
After completing the mobile OTP verification, users are directed to an optional email entry screen where they can skip this step or continue by entering a valid email id.
Validations implemented:
If no email is entered and "Continue" is clicked, a validation message prompts the user to enter an email.
If the entered email is already registered, a validation message is displayed.
If an invalid email format is entered, an error message is shown.
If a user navigates away to the home screen and then returns to registration, the email entry screen is displayed as the default screen.
Profile Menu Enhancements: The profile menu now includes the following options:
Edit Profile – Allows users to update their email. If no email was provided during registration, the field remains empty for optional entry.
Change Language – Enables users to select their preferred language.
Log Out – Provides a logout option for users.
ICOP integration for case
The ICOPS integration introduces enhancements to the Accused Details, Cheque Details, and Review screens, ensuring accurate address verification and police station mapping.
Accused Details Screen
Each accused's address includes a radio button with the default selection set to "Yes".
When the radio button is set to "Yes", the latitude and longitude fields remain disabled.
Changing the radio button to "No" enables the latitude and longitude fields.
Clicking the "Get Police Station" button:
Auto-fills the police station based on the entered coordinates.
If the latitude and longitude are outside Kollam, an error message is displayed.
Cheque Details Screen
The police station field has been removed from the cheque details screen.
Review Screen
The police station field is available on the Review screen for verification.
Composite Order
A Composite Order enables the judge to group multiple orders related to a single case within a single document. This functionality ensures that multiple decisions or directions can be handled efficiently under one structured order while maintaining workflow integrity.
Adding Items to a Composite Order
The judge has the flexibility to click on the order and add multiple items as required.
Each item within the Composite Order follows its own workflow, similar to how individual orders are processed.
Reviewing Pending Tasks & Issuing Orders
Pending tasks related to the case (such as application reviews) are displayed within the same screen for the judge’s reference.
This allows the judge to review applications and issue relevant orders without navigating away from the screen.
Business of the Day (BOTD)
BOTD is a mandatory field when proposing a Composite Order.
By default, this field is null, requiring the judge to enter a valid BOTD before publishing the order.
This ensures that every Composite Order is logged with the appropriate case proceedings for that day.
Title Management for Composite Orders
The title of the Composite Order is initially set to the title of the first order type included in the document.
SMS Templates
Overall 160 SMS templates are configured in production for various Alerts Massages

Limitations:
Composite Order:
The Pending Tasks section will only display Pending Review and Pending Approval tasks. Other pending tasks will not be shown.
Only one order that moves the case to the final stage can be published in a composite order.
Only one scheduled hearing order can be published in a composite order.
A Pending Review task is closed only when the order is published, not during the drafting process.
Bulk Rescheduling:
On reaching the Review Notification screen, if we attempt to bulk reschedule a hearing, the slots get booked automatically—even if no rescheduling is done. This issue resolves itself after 10 minutes when the system refreshes.
PDF creation takes time to load, causing a loading indicator (spinner) to appear.
